SVET (Svit)

Svit is a seasoned angel investor and serial entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley, California, USA. He has a proven track record, having successfully launched 14 projects, including the largest East European Tech Companies Stock Exchange and a leading luxury goods e-retailer. Recently, he founded FRIISCO, an incubator for international companies located in Silicon Valley, as well as the SVET Platform, a digital wealth management solution for the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

Svit began his career with Arthur Andersen before transitioning to Andersen Consulting (Accenture) as a business systems analyst, focusing on information systems re-engineering. He spent the majority of the following decade in corporate roles within the private equity and venture capital divisions.

Svit holds multiple degrees in the fields of mathematics, economics, financial management and investment banking, accounting, appraisal, information system design, and industrial engineering. He has provided consulting services to more than a dozen Fortune 500 companies, including JP Morgan, Solomon Brothers, Shell, Exxon, BP, GM, HP, Dell, Boeing, Ford, AT&T, Motorola, PepsiCo, Ottis, McDonalds, Marriott, and Procter & Gamble.

After achieving a high-level management position at Accenture, Svit left the company to establish a private fund, which quickly became one of the earliest specialized investors in Eastern European Web 2.0 startups.

In 2008, Svit became involved in the emerging decentralized movement and founded the first community-owned platform for trading shares of new technology companies. Within five years, it was acquired by one of the largest European stock exchanges.

In 2014, Svit established the First International Incubator for Silicon Valley Companies (FRIISCO), which provides support for international entrepreneurs launching startups in the Bay Area, California, USA.

In 2015, Svit joined the first Ethereum study group in Mountain View, California. Over the following years, he launched several media channels dedicated to providing in-depth technical reviews and assessments of decentralized, on-chain protocols, including "Ask SVET About Crypto".

In 2018, Svit founded SVET Rating, which was the first rating system that took into account the combined effects of cognitive, emotional, and social factors on investment decisions made by individuals and institutions in digital assets. After several years of development, SVET Rating evolved into the SVET Platform, which assists digital wealth holders in creating and building long-term portfolios.

Svit has published over 1,000 articles and research papers, which include technical reviews as well as macro and microeconomic analysis. Together, these articles have received over a million views and attracted over 20,000 followers on social media.

Throughout his professional and business career, Svit has lived and worked in more than 40 countries in Europe, America, Africa, and Asia. As a result, he is fluent in five languages. These diverse experiences have given him a broad perspective on the current state of the world. As more independent analysts join the SVET Platform, Svit has shifted the focus of his analytical publications from micro to macro-economics and political issues facing our troubled civilization today.
